Fire Hydrant Flow Testing, Safety Inspections, Valve Exercising, GIS

INNOVATING. IMPLEMENTING.

THE GLOBAL STANDARD

Comprehensive programs include annual safety inspections, flow testing, valve surveying/exercising, prioritized and categorized reporting, work order systems, GIS integration, and residual fire hydrant flow tests to determine water main capabilities. Flushing water main lines maintains a safe water supply for residents.

Services

NEW CONSTRUCTION FLOW TESTING

Hydrant flow tests are required prior to new construction. Flow testing is also conducted prior to the installation of fire suppression systems. Static, flow, and residual pressure data is used to calculate test results.

ANNUAL HYDRANT INSPECTIONS

Annual fire hydrant inspections are done in conjunction with flow testing fire hydrants and flushing water mains. Identify safety issues by inspecting hydrants annually.

HYDRANT PRESSURE
TESTING

Annual fire hydrant testing identifies OUT OF SERVICE hydrants, verifies reliability, and identifies low pressure areas throughout the distribution system. Hydrants should be static and flow pressure tested annually.

VALVE
SURVEYING

The AWWA recommends all water utilities initiate a valve exercise program requiring all valves to be inspected and operated on a regular basis. Water valves can be surveyed, located, exercised, and GPSed for integration into GIS.

GIS
INTEGRATION

Hydrant and valve survey reports are compatible with GIS. Decide which attributes are important to you and filter data to view the valves and hydrants in your GIS in a completely different way.

HYDRANT
FLUSHING

All hydrants are required to be flushed at least annually. Remember to notify residents prior to a flushing program in order to keep them informed and help minimize dirty water complaints.

20+ Years of Service

Relieving the water, fire departments, utility districts, and military bases from having to perform inspections, flushing, flow testing, and valve surveying.

Lower Your ISO Rating

Annual hydrant inspections, testing, and comprehensive reporting helps lower ISO ratings.

GIS Compatible

High accuracy GPS coordinates with all inspection and test data fully compatible with GIS.

Hydrant.com specializes in fire hydrant inspections, fire flow testing, fire hydrant surveys, hydrant flushing, hydrant testing, valve exercising, valve surveys, and GIS integration. We provide detailed reporting of all fire hydrants and valves in your system.
Fire hydrant flow testing, fire flow tests, and hydrant testing are important ways to measure aspects of a water supply system. A fire hydrant test is critical in determining areas in your system which require special attention. Always have your fire hydrants inspected annually to assess the conditions of your fire hydrants and confirm flow pressures. Hydrant.com also offers residual fire flow tests often required during new construction. Contact us today for a quote and to schedule your fire hydrant testing.
